Description: This course gives the student the necessary knowledge needed to understand the fundamentals of today’s wireline network. Concepts and terms common in the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) are explained. We also explore issues related to how these networks interconnect to other providers. Lastly, the course looks at the technology driving today’s networks and how that technology is deployed.
